Bright and comfortable overlooking the garden space for two people located on the ground floor of the main building. It has a private bathroom and two single beds that can become double beds.
The beauty of the Indonesian island of Bali and especially the proverbial friendliness of its inhabitants provide inspiration for this comfortable space. Kindness seems to be a simple act, but is it really? It is always possible to be softer, a little more attentive, more respectful… kindness can be greatly improved, in that sense it can become something refined, very sophisticated. So much so that in some oriental countries it is practiced and cultivated as if it were an art.
The art of kindness requires perceiving and understanding the needs of others and gently and naturally accepting the mistakes we all make. Amiability requires kshanti, a term that can be translated as tolerant patience, loving patience. Without love, kindness loses its enormous transformative capacity and becomes a mere formal gesture. Thus, little by little, day by day, humbly, attending to small details, perfection can be achieved in one of the highest virtues for Buddhism and other spiritual traditions, the so-called maitri or benevolence, kind love, beneficent love.
The BALI ROOM is a tribute to the culture of kindness and an invitation to practice gentleness with oneself as well. A space where you can rest, reflect, meditate and deepen the knowledge of your own needs.
The BALI ROOM represents the power of kindness to change relations with others and with ourselves because once we learn to be kind to ourselves it is easier to be kind to those around us.
